This boat was originally owned by avid SCUBA divers , who embarked on a multi-year diving cruise along the Atlantic East Coast, Bahamas, and Caribbean. She was outfitted with a dive compressor, integral tank racks, and a large dive platform to support this diving adventure. After some years the husband passed away and the wife continued to live aboard in St. Maarten, N.A. Boat was purchased by her current owner in June 2022 who sailed her from St. Maarten to Ft. Lauderdale where she is now.
She has great endurance with her solar array and DC systems plus her new generator perfectly powers the 3 AC units to maintain her comfortable and cool below deck in the hottest summer temperatures. She has currently been sailed in the Bahamas, South Florida and the Keys.
She is an ideal boat for cruising - and Is shallow water and is ICW friendly. Boat is now for sale due to owner’s personal reasons.
This boat has been meticulously upgraded over the last three years and is the ideal Bahamas cruiser. At the last shipyard haul out (Jan 2023) the hull was sanded, then one coat primer and two coats Pettit Trinidad bottom paint was applied. Also, the driveshaft, shaft seal, and cutlass bearings were replaced. The rudder was removed and new bearings and bushings were installed. The propeller was sent out for inspection. She was also hauled (Dec 2023) to replace the bow thruster and all underwater gear was inspected and the hull was washed.
