The ICE 70 is one of the bestseller of ICE Yachts, the Salvirola-based shipyard with over three decades of composite construction experience. Designed by Umberto Felci, it represents the shipyard's most complete expression of performance cruising — built for owners who demand the best of both worlds.
The hull is constructed in hybrid glass/carbon composite using vacuum infusion technology, with the deck, structures and mast in full carbon. Optional Cariboni telescopic lifting keel reduces draft from 4.3m to 2.75m, allowing access to shallow anchorages without compromising upwind performance.
The cockpit layout is optimised for short-handed sailing, with all halyards, sheets and sail controls accessible from the twin helms via electric push-button winches. The large carbon bimini and retractable dodger provide full weather protection without obstructing the working deck.
Below decks, the ICE 70 offers full customisation of layout, materials and finishes — always to the highest standard. The standard configuration features a master cabin forward and two guest cabins aft, finished in natural teak veneer and leather. The raised saloon benefits from panoramic double-glazed windows and feels significantly more spacious than the waterline length suggests.
The galley is equipped with induction hobs, combined microwave oven, custom stainless steel refrigeration, double sink and waste grinder. Wine cellar, icemaker and espresso machine are available as options. The watermaker produces up to 200 l/h of drinking-quality water with integrated UV sterilisation.
Navigation electronics are supplied by Raymarine or B&G, with instrument pods at both helms and a 24" chart plotter integrated into the cockpit table. Full domotics control is managed from the saloon display.
Propulsion is by Yanmar V-Drive engine up to 230hp, delivering a motoring speed of 12.3 knots. In the tender garage 3.8m rigid tender can be housed.
