ICE 80 Blue Water Sport — The New Flagship of ICE Yachts

Conceived as the ultimate expression of the ICE Yachts fast-cruiser philosophy, the ICE 80 Blue Water Sport marks the shipyard's entry into the large luxury sailing yacht segment. The yacht was unveiled as a flagship fast cruiser combining elegance and versatility, built to deliver dynamism and performance without compromising comfort, continuing the shipyard's long-running collaboration with Felci Yacht Design. 

Design & Naval Architecture

Penned by Umberto Felci, the ICE 80's silhouette is built around a distinctive reverse sheerline, a hull shaped like a work of art, and an unmistakable deckhouse profile traced by curved glazing, drawing a clear line back to 1960s Riva styling while remaining unmistakably contemporary. Underway, the ICE 80 shows a clean deck layout, twin helm stations, and powerful, minimalist lines, with systems and hardware routed below decks to keep the working surfaces uncluttered. 

Construction & Engineering

Every structural element — hull, deck, and bulkheads — is laminated in carbon fibre using a one-shot epoxy vacuum-infusion process, with solid carbon reinforcement at high-load points. The hull was engineered for the best possible behaviour at sea, developed to deliver easy control on all points of sail and in every condition. The retractable, numerically controlled keel — CNC-machined, telescopic, and built by APM — is paired with a JP3 steering system and a carbon rudder shaft manufactured in an autoclave. Sail handling runs through a full-carbon Axxon rig, furling main and boom, self-tacking headsails, and electric winches, all managed through the yacht's 48V electrical architecture. 

Accommodation

Below decks, the ICE 80 sleeps six guests across three en-suite cabins, headed by a forward owner's suite with a walk-in wardrobe, plus two further en-suite crew cabins aft for four. Interiors are the work of Felci Yacht Design throughout, in a palette of light, natural materials that carries the yard's timeless Italian sensibility from saloon to sole.
