Abina Boat | 39' Kadey-Krogen 2001

When we weren't able to secure a buyer earlier this year, Abina took her crew on an amazing cruise this summer throughout the PNW so they could once again enjoy every aspect of this proven design when it comes to exceptional seaworthiness in luxurious comfort.

Powered by a John Deere 115hp single diesel engine housed in an engine room/work shop that offers standing headroom upon entry, these boats have unbelievable fuel efficiency capable of a cruising range of 2,400 nautical miles. The full displacement hull provides stability in all kinds of sea states without the need for complex stabilizers, yet she remains easily maneuverable thanks to the unique articulating rudder, large prop and bow thruster. The full walk-around deck design provides confidence for the crew while they access the bow or come back to the aft deck which includes a walk-thru transom, shower and the option to full enclose to make full use of this space year round.

Stepping inside the interior one is instantly drawn to the stunning teak woodwork found throughout this vessel as this is the real deal, not a "look alike" product. The main salon is surrounded by windows with comfortable seating around a custom table that converts to a double berth if needed. The gourmet galley is a marine chefs dream come true as it is not only tastefully equipped with a full size fridge and freezer, propane stove and oven, Corian countertops and storage space capable of provisioning a lengthy voyage with ease, it is positioned on the same level as the main salon to keep the conversation flowing while meal preparation is underway. Even laundry is a breeze with the recent installation of a washing machine for ultimate cruising luxury or hassle free liveaboard options.

Stepping up into the pilothouse that provides fantastic visibility, the interior helm station is well appointed with easily visual gauges and electronics that monitor ship performance. Access to both the port and starboard decks are provided by Freeman aluminum dutch doors and additional single pilot berth is easily converted if needed.

Down a winding staircase you will find the master cabin and head with separate shower stall that is the ultimate in Captains quarters with a large centreline berth, tons of storage and easy access to the engine room.

Recently Surveyed and equipped with a BRAND NEW Northern Lights genset, Abina comes with assumable moorage at our popular Sidney location, with the option of full time liveaboard privileges.
