The Southern Wind 100 is widely regarded as the benchmark 30-metre performance

Designed by Farr Yacht Design and Nauta Design, Freebird is a true performance cruis-

er. Her sleek profile, low coachroof and twin-cockpit arrangement provide a perfect

balance between sailing efficiency and guest comfort, with a dedicated aft sailing cock-

pit and a separate central guest cockpit for relaxed cruising.

Originally launched in 2011 as Mrs. Marietta Cube, the third Southern Wind yacht com-

missioned by her original owners, she enjoyed seasonal Mediterranean cruising before

being acquired by her current owners in 2019. Following her purchase, she underwent

a comprehensive refit and was renamed Freebird. Since then, she has benefited from a

continuous programme of upgrades and meticulous maintenance.
