2022 REFIT HISTORY

After seven years of inactivity ashore, TIARÉ underwent a complete refit in 2022. The following is the non-exhaustive list of works stated in the sales brochure:

• Mast and boom: all fittings dismantled, checked, maintained or replaced as required; ultrasound analysis of the laminate carried out every 2 metres and in concentrated load areas (spreaders, rigging, boom trough, vang, etc.); mast and boom completely repainted following original procedures and products.
• Rudder blade: ultrasound analysis of laminate blade and shaft.
• Navtec rigging: replacement of all shrouds, forestay, backstay and inner forestay.
• Batteries: replacement of all service batteries with new Mastervolt lithium batteries; replacement of gel batteries for engine ignition and generator.
• Mastervolt system: check, overhaul and reprogramming of all equipment as well as alternators.
• Navigation system completely replaced with B&G Hercules 5000 and MFD Zeus systems.
• All electro-hydraulic equipment (power packs, PTO, bow thruster, electric motors, etc.) landed, checked and restored where necessary.
• Replacement of the lower and upper bushings of the rudder blade.
• Manual hydraulic system and associated cylinders sent to Navtec for inspection and repair where necessary.
• Skylights: all Perspex and sealing sleeves replaced.
• All pumps relating to air conditioning, refrigerator, watermaker and white, grey and black water plumbing systems landed, serviced or rebuilt.
• Replacement of all halyards, sheets, anchor and chains.
• Replacement of all interior and exterior cushions and upholstery.
• Rebuilding of central and aft splash guard, central and aft bimini, awning from mast to aft cockpit and awning forward of the mast.
