From the Yanmar 4JH4 with under 700 hours, electronics, paint, varnish, sails, cushions, etc., every item has been renewed and updated.  The world-renowned initial quality built-in by Shannon's crew of New England craftsmen under the direction of Walter Schulz combined with the exceptional refit excellence of Manchester, MA Marine makes "North Star" one of the best classic cruising yachts available.   The second interior helm station represents the ultimate in cruising comfort. The current owner is selling this exceptional bluewater passagemaker in recognition of Father Times' eternal undefeated record.  Heed this lesson well, and don't wait too long to buy your next boat, which hopefully will be the Shannon Pilot 38 "North Star."

16. White plastic valves above the waterline thru hull and transom fittings replaced with Bronze alloy thru hull fittings.
