Sail Inventory
This Beneteau comes with an unusually extensive sail inventory:

OEM 2008 Neil Pryde heavy Dacron mainsail

Cruising & Deck Equipment
Custom removable dinghy davits were designed to securely carry the dinghy in Lake Michigan conditions. The boat also includes a 2010 Achilles RIB with a 2015 Yamaha 9.9 hp four-stroke outboard.
Ground tackle is equally substantial, centered around a 73 lb Rocna anchor, 100 feet of 3/8" chain and an additional 80 feet of 5/8" line spliced for operation through the windlass. An anchor snubber and chain hook are included.
Twin wheels feature leather covers and conveniently positioned drink holders. A Harken hydraulic backstay adjuster was added in 2017.
Canvas, Storage & Seasonal Equipment
The boat includes a dodger with a bimini that can be collapsed on its poles and protected by a cover. A connecting panel between the bimini and dodger provides overhead enclosure. While the canvas dates from 2008, the dodger window panels have been replaced multiple times and the stitching has been redone. The Bimini and connecting panel have seen comparatively light use.
Also included are a full winter cover and custom steel cradle.
Interior & Systems
The salon settee and navigation-seat cushion foam was replaced in 2023. Other practical improvements include an added refrigerator ventilation fan and an automatic pump arrangement for the aft-head sink and shower sump.
The electrical system incorporates bow shore power, shore-power switching at the navigation station, and an additional neutral-isolation arrangement intended for sensitive dock GFI systems.
Safety & Spares
Safety equipment noted by the owner includes:
EPIRB
Life raft
Jacklines
Gale Rider storm drogue, which can also serve as an emergency-rudder solution
Custom emergency tiller

Notable spares include a Lecomble & Schmitt autopilot ram and motor, spare fresh-water pump, and spare bow-thruster motor.
With one-owner history, extensive sail inventory, long-range fuel capacity, dinghy and outboard, full seasonal equipment, substantial safety gear, numerous cruising upgrades, and a 2024 survey available, Strider represents a particularly complete Beneteau 46 package.
