Eric Macklin

Eric's passion for boating began at the age of 14 in Connecticut with a sea scout group, cruising (and constantly fixing) a classic Hinckley Bermuda 40 along the East Coast. He attended Roger Williams College, earned a bachelor's degree in Business Management and became captain of the sailing team. Eager for warmer water, he moved to South Florida and explored every nautical opportunity he could find. From ocean deliveries to yacht repair and construction, he became immersed in the industry and built a wide base of capabilities.

Eric's career in new boat sales began at the retail level, where a geeky knack for product knowledge and natural ability to find creative solutions proved invaluable. That quickly progressed into successfully representing some prominent American and European yacht brands across North America, connecting him to a broad network of yacht dealers and brokers. Eric is thrilled to be a part of the Denison family, managing sales of the Beneteau and Excess brands for South Florida.
