Gunboat has introduced ONE HUNDRED PLUS, a new range of full-custom performance catamarans built above 100 feet, or 30.48 meters. It's the first time the French yard has taken its performance program past the 30-meter mark, and the first concept released under the range is the Gunboat 120.
The yard's framing is direct: thirty meters plus, still a Gunboat.
What the Range Is
Gunboat's position is that going above 100 feet in the multihull sector has usually meant giving something up, either in design or in performance, and that ONE HUNDRED PLUS is built to avoid that trade. The yard describes the range as bringing its performance DNA to a larger stage while raising the level of the interior fitout, working with outside designers, builders and installers on the finish while keeping the attention to weight and sail plan that the brand is known for.
There's no series production here. Every yacht in the range is a one-off, designed around the owner's program, whether that's long-range expedition work, Pacific cruising, or Mediterranean family use. Gunboat handles the naval design and build, and the owner selects the design team alongside them.
The Gunboat 120 Concept
The Gunboat 120 is a proof of concept rather than a model with a fixed spec sheet. Gunboat describes her as buildable and full custom, released to show one version of what the yard can do at this scale rather than to define the range.
Gunboat has not published length overall, beam, displacement, sail area, or pricing for the 120, and the yard is handling the project by private invitation rather than through a public model launch. A 58-second teaser film accompanies the announcement.
The lines Gunboat is using to describe her get at the intent: light where you'd expect heavy, fast where you'd expect settled. Her size doesn't add marble. It adds horizon.
Built in La Grande Motte
Gunboat is building the range in-house at La Grande Motte in the south of France rather than outsourcing the work to a larger yard. The company has been building there since 2016 and reports almost twenty projects above 70 feet currently under contract, which is the basis for its argument that the skills base and infrastructure are already in place for larger projects.
The approach is to bring in specialist skills and components per project, choosing suppliers that fit each yacht's scope of work instead of committing to a fixed supply chain. Gunboat is part of Grand Large Yachting.
Where This Sits in the Gunboat Fleet
Gunboat's current range runs from the 68 through the 72, 80 and the new Fusion 80, the Gran Turismo model launched at the Cannes Yachting Festival in 2025. Above that, the yard's largest build to date has been a one-off 90-footer, launched as Sunshine and now sailing as Tiger Lily Too.
ONE HUNDRED PLUS moves the program past both. For a builder whose reputation was built on carbon catamarans in the 60 to 80 foot range, it's a meaningful step up in scale.
Gunboat in North America
Denison Yachting is Gunboat's exclusive representative in North America, a partnership announced in September 2025 covering marketing, U.S.-based events, and communications for the yard's current and future models.
David Johnson is Denison's point of contact for Gunboat. Based out of the Fort Lauderdale office on 17th Street, David spent more than a decade as a megayacht captain before moving into brokerage, including a stretch as project manager on a new build at a European yard. He currently represents the Gunboat 68, 72, 80 and Fusion 80, along with the JFA Long Island range.
