Tranquility Boat | 40' Island Packet 2001

This gorgeous and extremely well-cared for Island Packet 380, ‘Tranquility’, was originally sailed in San Francisco then shipped to Michigan where it was sailed in fresh-water for 10 years and stored indoors in a custom cradle and heated hanger. The current owner brought the boat to Washington State in 2021 and has continued to take immaculate care of the boat. The boat shows well and is in the water in her slip in the John Wayne Marina in Sequim, WA.

Powered by a Yanmar 4-Cylinder 50HP Diesel Engine with only 760hrs that cruises the boat between 5.5-8 knots burning approximately ¾ Gallon/Hour. The engine has a 3-Blade Bronze Max Prop (Recently Serviced) and a PSS Dripless Shaft Seal. Very Clean Engine and Engine Room.

The Cockpit is very roomy with a comfortable Captains Chair and Removable Back Rest, Stern Quarter Seats, Full Cushioned Cockpit Seats, Folding Table, Full Cover with the Dodger and Bimini, Wheel Steering with a Helm Pedestal, Navigation Equipment and more!

The decks are wide and easy to maneuver fore and aft with Stainless Steel Life Lines and lots of Handrails for safety. The bow area has a Simpson Lawrence Windlass (New Motor), Bow Roller for Two Anchors and Stainless Steel Bow Pulpit. The boat is very well laid-out for being under-way or at anchor. These boats are designed for Bluewater Sailing in comfort! They sail great and are extremely capable. The Main, Staysail and Genoa can all be Un-Furled and Controlled from the Cockpit!

Accommodations:

Going below through the Companionway Hatch takes you into the Cabin Area with the Galley immediately to starboard that has a 3-Burner LPG Stove and Oven, Chest Style Refrigerator and Freezer, Double Stainless Steel Sink with Hot and Cold Pressure Water, Microwave, Good Counter Space and Lighting and Lots of Storage in Cabinets and Drawers.

To port across from the Galley is the Quarter Berth Cabin through a Privacy Door. The Quarter Berth Cabin has a Hanging Locker, Storage in Drawers and Shelves, Great Lighting, Opening Port LIght and a Large Double Berth.

Going forward from the Aft Quarter Berth Cabin takes you into the Salon Area with an L-Shaped Settee to port that pulls out to make a Double Berth (a perfect Sea Berth), Cabinetry and Bookshelves, Opening Port Lights, Overhead Opening Hatch, and a Large Folding Table that can be fastened to the forward bulkhead. A Single Settee is to starboard that also can double as a Sea Berth. There is lots of Storage in and around the Settees as well as above them in Book Shelves and Cabinetry and Good Lighting. There is also glass and plate ware storage above the Folding Dinette Table.

The Navigation Station is on the aft end of the L-Shaped Settee and has comfortable seating, Navigation Equipment and the AC/DC Electrical Panel.

Forward of the Salon to starboard is a large Hanging Locker and a new bulkhead mounted Dickenson Diesel Cabin Heater.

The Head is to port and is very spacious with an Opening Port Light, Opening Hatch, Stainless Steel Sink, Marine Toilet, Good Lighting, Storage in Cabinets, Full Length Mirror, a Shower and a Large Folding Shower Stall that tucks away behind Full Length Mirror.

The Main Cabin is all the way forward with a Walk-Around Queen Berth, Great Headroom, Privacy Door, Storage in Cabinets and a Hanging Locker, Overhead Opening Hatch, Reading Lights and Storage Drawers below the Berth.

The boat is in ‘Boat Show’ condition and has been incredibly well-maintained!
