Growing up in a small clamming town in Long Island, New York made it easy for Joseph Laundrie to fall in love with the water at a very young age. As an avid surfer, boating was yet another outlet to where he could enjoy the adventures of the ocean. After enduring many years of the cold waters he decided to journey southward to West Palm Beach, where he graduated with a dual degree in Finance and Accounting.
Throughout his University experience, he worked as the First Officer and Purser on multiple super yachts. Upon graduating, he decided to put his degree to work and set his first love of the sea aside for a while. Moving to Manhattan, New York and working on Wall Street for one of the world’s largest Private Wealth Management firms allowed him to experience the professional side of high finance.
After a couple of years, Joseph’s passion for yachts and the water outweighed his professional career in finance. He then decided to move to Europe and work for one of the world’s leading yacht owners as the First Officer and Purser. Traveling the Mediterranean, as First Officer on this super yacht expanded his knowledge and understanding of these large yachts and their many tenders. After this amazing opportunity, Joseph decided he would combine his love of the water and his yacht knowledge to connect potential owners with the yacht of their dreams.
His professionalism and genuine passion of the yachting industry allows him to pursue his personal dreams, while helping people build their own dreams on their very own yachts.
