Denison Yacht Sales Tours Beneteau Factories Paris Boat Show

Beneteau 34 Swift TrawlerFORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA – At Denison Yacht Sales, globalization is much more than a 21st Century buzzword.  Six yacht brokers from the exclusive dealer for Beneteau Power Boats in Florida recently traveled to the Vendee region of France to tour Beneteau’s multiple factory locations in order to fully understand the yacht builder’s business model in ways that will help Denison provide superior client service.

“Denison continues to push forward and expand our operations to better serve a global yachting marketplace,” said Bob Denison, owner of Denison Yacht Sales.  “Our brokers are dedicated to providing expert client service. One of the ways we achieve that is to immerse ourselves in the products we represent. Real time at the factory allows our brokers to truly know all aspects of the Beneteau Power product line.”

Denison Yacht Sales is the exclusive dealer for Beneteau Powerboats in Florida including both the Beneteau Swift Trawler line and the complete Beneteau Flyer G.T. line of express cruisers.

Partner Nereus Dastur, and brokers Alex Wilkes, Andrew Parkinson, Chris Carbonell and Juan Pasch accompanied Bob Denison on the informative tour of the Beneteau factories.

“Our visit to the Beneteau factories was an eye-opening experience,” said Swift Trawler specialist Andrew Parkinson.  “I was most impressed with Beneteau’s highly visible commitment to quality control and attention to detail. I’ve never seen anything like it.”

At Denison Yacht Sales, each broker specializes in just one or two classes of vessels and develops expertise by visiting manufacturers, learning the latest technologies and fully understanding the service requirements of each type of vessel.

“I was extremely impressed with the Beneteau operation,” said yacht broker Chris Carbonell.  “Visiting the factory and seeing the construction processes has solidified what I already knew, which is that Beneteau builds top quality express boats – not just quality sailboats”

For 120 years, Beneteau has built a reputation for innovation and expertise in yachting. Today, more than 36,000 Beneteau powerboats have traveled the globe with performance, modernity and safety.

“Beneteau takes great pride in the boats they build, continuously finds ways to improve the next boat in production. It was amazing to see how quickly they responded to customer – and dealer feedback on the factory floor.” said yacht broker Juan Pasch.

In addition to their Beneteau factory visit, Denison brokers participated at the Paris Boat Show, where Beneteau dealers from around Europe showcased the complete lineup on Beneteau Flyer G.T.’s and Swift Trawlers. Featured at the Paris Show was Beneteau’s brand new 2012 44 Swift Trawler which will be making her U.S. debut at the upcoming TrawlerFest in Fort Lauderdale, and the February Miami Boat Show on Collins Avenue.

“The Paris Boat Show is the world’s preeminent industry event. Having Denison Yacht Sales join us there was important for three major reasons. First, it gave their team an opportunity to more fully appreciate the power of the Beneteau brand, and its position as the worldwide leader in our industry.  Second, it provided an opportunity for the Denison team to tour our production facilities and meet some key individuals most intimately familiar with our processes and quality assurance practices. Finally, it gave us time to get to know the Denison team better which strongly affirmed our decision to add  Denison Yacht Sales to the Beneteau dealer network. They are truly impressive,” said Laurent Fabre, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Beneteau powerboats division.

Currently Denison is stocking the entire Beneteau Power product line at their downtown Fort Lauderdale location, including every Flyer G.T. model and all three Swift Trawler models.
